Workshop Topics Include:
Interactive Read-Aloud (PreK-K): About the author presentation and an interactive read-aloud of one of the author's books. A question-and-answer session with the author and book signing for those that purchased books.

How to Grow a Story (K-3): About the Author, a 45-minute fun and engaging presentation on How to Grow a Story with fun exercises/games and an interactive read-aloud of one of the author's books. A question-and-answer session with the author and book signing for those that purchased books.

Elements of a Strong Story (3-5): What elements make a great story? Topics include- character analysis, tips and tricks for creating a strong voice, strong plots, strong words, and revision will be addressed. An ask- the- author session will follow.

Behind the Scenes: A Book's Journey (Grades 6 plus): What is the process behind producing a book? This workshop is a behind-the-scenes look at how a manuscript becomes a picture book. Topics include: Before the book (brainstorming, mapping ideas, research). Writing the 1st draft (Proofreading, revision, query letters).
Publishing: (Contracts, collaboration, and timelines.)

Package 2: Half Day
Two 45-minute presentations or classroom visits within the Merrimack Valley or surrounding area (25 miles) $750.00 Package 4: Virtual Visit One 45-minute presentation $350.00 |
Package 5: Outside of the Merrimack Valley, visits are $2,500 for a full day (3 presentations) with the cost of transportation, airfare/mileage, lodging, and meals.
